Surf, Sand & Sea

This weeks challenge, was Surf, Sand and Sea! Something so fitting for me, since SUMMER is here! I decided to make a FUN card using everything from the cricut cartridge Life's a Beach!  It's a simple card, but it gets the point across!  I am still working on another entry for this week's challenge, so stay tuned!! Hop on over to see what the other members of the team have created!

  1. Your card is so adorable. Makes me want to go find a surf board and hit the waves and if I am really lucky - find my own dolphin to play with.

    Hugs,

  2. I've never swam with the dolphins. Maybe one day. Do you spend a lot of time at the beach? We have beaches here but they are not pretty. There is a lot of live entertainment though! lol

    1. Living is Hawaii all my life, I've never swan with the dolphins either. There's places that you can do it, but i've never gone. One day, I hope to do it. I used to go to the beach all the time when i was younger, i am trying to make it a regular thing. there's something about the ocean that just calms me, and these days with all the gadgets and whatnot, i find it's great having time to be disconnected!

    2. You are like me in New York City. There are so many touristy things that I fail to do. Meanwhile people come here for that unique experience. I am only starting to find time to go exploring. It's not that I never wanted to see it, but me (and my friends agree) that we always push it back because we think there's always time. If we don't start making it happen then we may miss the opportunity. Unfortunately we don't have the serene settings that Hawaii has to offer...it's always rush, rush, rush! "Time is money" is a saying that a lot of people follow religiously.

    3. I know what you mean, I really want to take the time to explore more, even if it's alone. A lot of times, friends and family don't have the same schedules and it becomes hard to get together. I have a list of things that I wanna do before the summer ends. Not that living in Hawaii with the same weather all year around that I couldn't do it another time, but I just feel like summer is the time to be more free?! haha! or that's just the excuse that I'm giving! Time is money is a hard life to live by, sometimes you really need to stop and take some time to breathe!

  3. Oh, I envy you in Hawaii! I would love to be able to go swimming in the ocean right now. Oregon's weather has turned . . . well, CRAPPY! It's cold, overcast & it may just rain again. It is June, right?

    Happiness :)

    1. Even though it's summer here, it's hurricane season also, so with that comes some odd weather too. sometimes it's really muggy, and that is the grossest feeling! yuck! :(
I hope the weather picks up for you! I've never been to oregon, but i heard it's awesome!!

      cheers!
