Live ALOHA!!
Postcards from the edge!
Send some ALOHA!

This pic was taking on the shores of the island of Molokai! There's something about the simplicity of a lone coconut tree high up in the powdery blue sky, that can convey a beautiful feeling!

A greeting, salutation or farewell is the common use of this word, but it is so much more than that! It's a way of life! A code in which we live by!  We practice it everyday, whether it be at home showing your family how much you love them, at work lending a coworker a hand, giving your friend some advice, helping someone out at the grocery store, these are all ways of practicing Aloha! Going out of your way to do something for someone else without expecting anything in return.  If everyone could spread a little Aloha everywhere that go, the world would be such a better place! Give the gift of Aloha!

Now available in the shop! This is a postcard, the back is blank so you can write your own special greeting.   Send some Aloha via snail mail! It could also be used for scrapbooking or decoration!

Happy Hump Day!
Cheers and Aloha!

Stick It

Working on some things for my shop!  Here is a little preview of what is yet to come.  I've been dabbling in vinyl here and there and will be adding more vinyl stickers to my shop.  Of course I will have some Hello Kitty items, like the ones shown above.  Shown is Hello Kitty and her friend Kathy Bunny.  I will also be making some other designs.  Stay tuned for more updates!!

A little something extra

I've  been trying to include little notes and cards in all of my orders, just to let people know how much I appreciate them patronizing my shop and supporting handmade creations.  I was wondering, what do all of you do for your shops or orders?  I'm always looking for ways to spice up my shop.  I have ideas in the works for packaging and that sort of thing, but still have yet to put them in action.  I love a shop that has great packaging!  Do you write handmade notes or add a little something extra?  I would love to hear what other people do.

Same but Different

Here are a few things recently listed in my shop!  Hello Kitty key chains, lanyards, wristlets with a whistle.  I recently made some of these for a fundraiser and they were a big hit! People are even requesting them for graduation gifts.  She is my old standby, I only met a few people that openly admit that they hate Hello Kitty! Wha!? Are they high or something?  She's the best simple design out there! This is going to upset you cat lovers out there, I apologize in advance!  People that know me well, know that I am not a fan of cats, from a young age I never liked cats.  I've had bad experiences with them and always have bad dreams about them.  Also superstitiously speaking I am a firm believer that when an all black cat crosses your path something bad is going to happen, and believe me it's happened to me more than a couple times!  I often get asked this question.."how come you love Hello Kitty so much, but you don't like cats?" Me: shes not a real cat! it is different! This could cause a debate I'm sure, but for me it's not the same thing.

Hello Kitty Tokidoki Cactus

This is some shots of the Hello Kitty Tokidoki Cactus that I cut out for some custom folders that a customer wanted.  It's not exactly what the original looks like, but I had to go with what worked out the best!  All in all, I think she came out pretty cute!

Collage Fun

Just playing around with some new things that I'm learning how to do.  Wanted to see how it looks, hoping to punch things up on the blog.
Shown are some gift bags that I made for a customer last year.  It's a nice way to add some fun to your packaging!
Cheers!

Birthday Box

Birthday Boxes!  This is a fun alternative to a birthday card!  It's a 3-D way to wish that someone special a very happy birthday!  It's filled with bright confetti and happy birthday sentiment opens up to a mini banner.  I've included a card on the top so you can write your special message.  If your gift is small enough, it might even be able to fit in the box!
Cheers!

Boris is so not boring...

I was so pleased with my 1st purchase from cuore, that when Mika the lovely shop owner told me about her upcoming stationery line I just had to get it!  It's not yet listed in her shop, but I'm sure if you contact her she will be more than willing to work with you.  I received this in the mail yesterday, and was so excited to open up the package.  Even her packaging is the best!  You can have anything you want personalized on the stationery and there's even different color envelopes that you can choose from.  I am a huge fan of this shop!  She recently listed some very cute items for St. Patrick's day, so go check them out before they're all gone!  Isn't Boris the cutest?!! Thanks again Mika!!

Smiles in the mail

When I checked the mail today, it was my surprise to find this unexpected package.  It was from a fellow etsy shop owner, Sylvia!  We have established a relationship within the last so many months.  Although we have never met, we have developed a special bond through email.  She is very talented and makes all kinds of cute things.  She sent me the cutest cell phone charm, with of course no other than Hello Kitty!  It's a bell and whenever she moves she rings!  I love it!! Thanks so much Sylvia!  Check out her shop!

Share it!

Found this on Etsy and I am planning on sending in a bunch of cards!  I think that this is such a great program and a great way to get involved!!  I have some made already, and want to make more.  Even if you don't have a Valentine or someone to share the day with at least you can make someone else happy and I'm sure that you can find some happiness through that too.  Exude love and happiness and it will surely come back to you!
