Things in this post are smaller then they appear

For this challenge, you may use one, two or all three colors along with neutrals (i.e. black, ivory, tan, white, etc.) If you use all three, add A3 after your name for an extra entry.

This week, we have 2 great sponsors:

For this challenge, I decided to keep it simple!

I stayed true to my pocket cards, but made them mini for this project.  The thought behind this project is that the pocket card is attached to the bag and serves as a either a pocket for a card or a gift receipt for the gift inside the bag.  I made the bag in TEAL, the background in polka dot MAGENTA and the heart in OLIVE!  Also the ribbon handles are 2 different shades of OLIVE.  I love this mini size bags!! Cute and just big enough to fit something awesome inside!  I'm using these for Halloween!! Stay Tuned!!

It's in the air

Quick post, here's another simple card that I made for standby cards.  You know, for those times that you or someone in your family needs a card for something last minute or for something that they totally forgot about.  I made this with the cricut and I am lovin the color combo!  It's supposed to be a play on -love is in the air-, sort of? Well you get the point?!!  The inside is blank to write your own personal message.
It's ALOHA FRIDAY!! Enjoy the weekend!!

Dragon Thanks You

This weeks challenge is everyone's fav! Anything goes!!  Join in on all the fun!

We have 3 great sponsors this week!

For this challenge, I decided to enter a Thank You card that I recently made for my dad's birthday party.  Since it's the year of the Dragon, I went with that theme!  All of the images were made with the cricut.  I cut the bonsai tree as the background image, I brushed it with black ink on the edges to kinda look like smoke or mist.  I wanted the dragon to be the main focus of the card, but not make it so harsh looking, so I inked it with gold to look more regal than scary.  I used the thick double-sided tape to pop it up a little.  Lastly I added some sakura or cherry blossoms in different sizes to add some serenity to the card.

If anyone is interested in becoming a member of Tuesday Alchemy, please let me know and I can direct you to our leader Corrinne!

Purple Butterflies

Short post today, just wanted to share a little something that I made.  I was asked to make a banner for a friend that was having a baby shower for her friends.  The theme was butterflies and purple!  What a sweet combo! This is what I came up with, sweet and simple!
Hope you're having a nice Sunday!!

Dress it up Pinspirations

This weeks pinspirations is all about the dress up!  With Halloween quickly approaching, it's time to start getting the costumes in order!  Do you dress up for Halloween?  Do you know what you're gonna be yet?? Do you make your own or do you buy them?  I'm sure this year there will be tons of P.S.Y. Gangdum style going around!!  What do you think the hot costumes will be?  Here are some of my favs that I found on pinterest!
Some youngins might not even know who E.T. is?!  I think this is an awesome costume!!

Awesome group costume!!

Anyone want some sushi?  Cute costume and I think it's a little funny, that they're asian! haha!

Hello! My name is Forrest! Forrest Gump!!

Usually I am not a fan of the tutu for costumes, because most of the time it doesn't make sense?! For some odd reason to me, this one kinda makes sense? I don't know, I like it!

I think this is so fun! Jan-Ken-Po!

This costume is fun, and it really does look like a bath scrubbie!

I love the creativity that people come up with for Halloween!! I love to dress up! I'm still debating on a couple of ideas!  Every year, I always tell myself that I will not wait til' the last minute, and every year I am not prepared! Ugh! Let's see what happens?!
Tell me your Halloween stories! What's your favorite costumes?!!
