Baby Onesies Banner

Just a quick share!  Here's a tiny banner that I made for one of my friends.  She was having a baby shower luncheon, so I made this for her to decorate the table.  I love the little onesies!  Super cute and represents a baby shower so well!!  This has been my go to for baby shower banners!

The weather's still all over the place, the only good things coming out of it are rainbows and green grass!

In hopes that the weather will turn around, I'll leave you with this!

Sakura Garden

Here's another lollipop garden, but this time I made them in sakura or cherry blossom flowers.  I even embossed the little bags with a tiny sakura pattern.  I used all different shades of pink, because this was for a baby shower!  I love how these came out!! I want to make more!!  Just looking at them, makes me smile!!

What's up for the weekend?  The weather has been a little wonky over here!  It's all over the place!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Smile it's SPRING!

Hello Kitty Folder

This week we have 2 great sponsors:

Be sure to check out their sites for all their goodness!!

I decided to make one of my folders for this challenge!  Of course it's Hello Kitty!  I used a mead folder for this project, it is very durable, inexpensive and has a lot of pockets!  I used the My Little Twin Stars paper tape and ran it across the folder from end to end creating a stripped look.  I made the Hello Kitty head with my big shot in coordinating colors, light blue and brown.  This color combo is great for someone who likes Hello Kitty, but not really girly or that into pink.  A very simple project, and a great way to add some excitement to a regular folder.

Keeley Koala

I decided to make a card with Keeley Koala!  I used a shimmer purplish card stock for Keeley's body, I added some fuzzy glitter to her ears to make her look more, well Koala-ish.  I cut the card with the pinking look and turned it upright for a different look.  The light plum card matted on the back of Keeley is actually left over from the turtles & frogs party.  I used tiny scraps to punch out the little butterflies zooming around Keeley.  I accented them with a little bling gem and used metallic white pen for their zzzooms.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment which didn't come out as great as I hoped! :(  I think it's because the stamp wasn't cleaned well and it dried up and while I was stamping it kinda fell off the backing, that's why it looks warped.  It's okay, it wouldn't be mine if it came out straight! haha! ☺ This card is an all occasion card!

M-I-C-K-E-Y

I am currently working on birthday invitations, and the theme is none other then the man himself! The only guy that can go around wearing no shirt, short shorts, white gloves, yellow shoes and talks in a high voice and no one questions his masculinity?! hah! Yes! It's Mickey Mouse!!  I went very simple on this one, just a little embossing, a die cut, some punches and embellishments and we've got a party going on! Stay tuned for the rest of the party goodies!

Hello Kitty Tokidoki Cactus

This is some shots of the Hello Kitty Tokidoki Cactus that I cut out for some custom folders that a customer wanted.  It's not exactly what the original looks like, but I had to go with what worked out the best!  All in all, I think she came out pretty cute!

Letters of love

I made this for my friend that had the baby the day of her baby shower!  It went with her theme of turtles and frogs.  I don't have a picture of what the letters originally looked like.  I got them from a local boutique and they were black.  I thought that black would be too harsh for a baby, so i painted them white.  After it dried, it looked a little to plain, so I added some color to it by drawing lines and dots with green and pink paint pens.  I found the wooded animals at the craft store, then wrote her full name out individually on each animal.  Lastly I glued the animals on to each letter.  There are slots behind each letter to hang easier, or you could also place on a mantel or even a book shelf for a different look.  You could even add pretty ribbons to make it look more colorful and hang them off of pins or nails.  It was fairly fast and pretty easy, it literally took an afternoon from start to finish.  I was very happy with the end result!
  Cheers!

Collage Fun

Just playing around with some new things that I'm learning how to do.  Wanted to see how it looks, hoping to punch things up on the blog.
Shown are some gift bags that I made for a customer last year.  It's a nice way to add some fun to your packaging!
Cheers!

Happy Birthday Card

Big brother needed a birthday card, so I whipped this one up for him.  The theme was pink and purple, so this is what I can up with.  He's been using my cards a lot, for all different occasions, I guess you could say that he's good for business?! haha!! Nah...I love that he asks me for my cards, it's like I'm his Hallmark! :)

Cheers!

Turtles & Frogs Baby Shower

The invites
These pics were from a baby shower that I threw last year, the theme was Turtles and Frogs for a baby girl!
The decor
Here are some decorations, fun and festive balloons!  I'm so mad that I didn't get better pics of the rest of the balloons.
The food
Since it was a co-ed shower, to make things the father to be ordered bentos for everyone, we also had a lot of other yummy delights!
The favors
Here's another version of the box with the lollipop treats inside!  Bright and fun! Makes me smile just looking at the colors!
The table
Some table decor, to add a little something extra!  Turtles, frogs, lily pads, and flowers.
The goodies
Here are more treats that were on a different table.  Pink & Purple M&M's in mini champagne bottles, more lollipops and sleeves filled with peach frog gummi candy!(oomph featured these yummy treats, and actually inspired this post)
The gifts
Lots of gifts for the new parents!! Yes that is Christmas wrap! haha! You know guys...I guess we can't ask for much, at least it's wrapped right?!
The games
Once again, leave it to guys to do something inappropriate with an innocent baby shower game!

All in all the party was a success, minus the fact that the mom to be, missed half of the shower because she went in to labor!  Yes! She had the baby that evening, one month early.  Even better, it was on Father's day!  Best gift a father could get!! Now almost one year later, her 1st birthday is on the horizon!
Cheers!

Sakura Reception Bucket

This weeks challenge was anything goes, this is what I came up with.  It's a alternative to a reception box.  It could also be used for a centerpiece or even for a gift box.  I love the pinks and browns!  This is very simple and easy to make, and best of all it doesn't take much time to complete.  Check out the rest of the teams entries for this week!
Cheers!

Birthday Box

Birthday Boxes!  This is a fun alternative to a birthday card!  It's a 3-D way to wish that someone special a very happy birthday!  It's filled with bright confetti and happy birthday sentiment opens up to a mini banner.  I've included a card on the top so you can write your special message.  If your gift is small enough, it might even be able to fit in the box!
Cheers!
