Tag Your Pics

This is a really late post, but I still wanted to share it anyway.  I made these this past holiday season.  These are all pictures that I've took, I doctored them up a little using pic monkey, and made them into gift tags.  This was my alternative to traditional holiday cards.  I added 2-3 on each gift, and it made the wrapping look so much more festive!  I went a little crazy making these, I still have a lot left over.  I figured that since not all of them are holiday pictures, I can use them throughout the year for different things.  It was very simple, I had them printed up as wallet sized at Costco, so you get 4 on a sheet.  Very practical on the wallet! 

I love the creativity that people come up with for their holiday cards, I got a lot of great ones this year!  Do you make holiday cards?  How do you keep it fresh and fun?

Hopping into Spring

 

It's that time again!  The Cadbury commercial is in full Spring!!  I love that commercial! It never gets old!! I'm hop,hop,hopping into EASTER!!! While I create more Spring treats to share with you, I want to share some of my past Spring seasons with you.  Some you probably have seen before, so pardon the duplicates. 

Part of an Easter collection that I made.  I was getting tired of making the front of the bunny, so I just decided to do the back! Which I actually like but than the front!! :) To give it a little cuteness, I just added a dab of cotton to the bonbon!

Chickadee is walking around the garden trying to find some Easter eggs! A cute tag, that could be used for a boy or a girl!

This was part of a baby shower gift that I made.  Just looking at all the colors makes me smile!  I will be making these again this Spring for different occasions!

Another Spring tag, great to add to Easter baskets! The best thing about Spring is that you can't really go wrong with any color!

A little swag with your bag! Can be used as a little Easter goodie bag or even an Easter hunt bag.  Pink Lemonade hopping in the garden looking for some eggs.

Little sweet treat bags.  This is the same little bag that I use for the lollipop flowers, I just added a simple fluttering butterfly to make it a little more fun!!

Another does of sweetness!  This picture is giving me a toothache!  This is a very simple way to give a little treat! I've done it with all different treats inside, sunflower seeds, M&M's, whatever fits. 

This is my fav!! It's a mini garden of sweets!  There's 8 individual lolly flower bags in each box!! It's perfect for an office gift or a table centerpiece!! I love how the flowers all come together!! 

This Spring season, I will be doing a lot of the same and a little bit different!  Can't wait to show you what I've been working on!

Girlie Goodies

Girls night out goodies!  I recently attended a birthday party dinner for one of my besties!  It was just a small group of us, so I figured I'd make some small party favors.  

Once again, I used my old standby the scalloped pocket card!  This time though, I made it a little different.  I made it double-sided.  I made 2 equal size pockets and glued them together back to back, then tied a ribbon attaching the 2 together in the center hole.  I kept it simple, just using some fun papers, and adding a heart to it.  I added Wet Ones wipes in one side of the pockets and Cottonell Flushables to the other side pocket!  Both of these are life savers and awesome to have with you at all times! I swear I should own stock in Wet Ones!  I love the way these came out, and they fit perfectly in your purse.  Once you use the wipes, you can always use the pocket card for something else.  A coupon holder is the first thing that comes to mind?!  All in all, the girls loved it and it was a winner!

Warm the Bench

 

Pink stool with Hello Kitty decals cut from vinyl.  This was a gift for my little cousin that loves Hello Kitty!  I added her name with the Hello Kitty face, on one side I added a butterfly and on the other I added a flower.  I used the Hello Kitty cricut cartridge to cut the decals.  This was probably the easiest and fastest gift I've ever made!

Happy Birthday in Wonderland

 Front of the card: Castle as the backdrop is actually a sand castle that I cut from the cricut cartridge doodle charms.  The tea pot is from cricut cartridge pagoda.  The hat is from the create a critter cartridge.  The happy birthday sentiment is also from create a critter.  I can't remember what cartridge the crown is from.  The hearts are punches and the rest are stickers.  I just accented everything with silver metallic pen to give it that extra pop!

 The inside of the card, I added things from the story, the caterpillar, the mushrooms and whimsy flowers and butterflies for that woodland flair.  I also added some playing card stickers and stamped different sentiments around the card.  I used glitter glue to accent the inside and make it a little more playful. 

Another birthday card, this time the theme was Alice in Wonderland!  Such a cool theme for a party!  The possibilities are endless.  I absolutely loved making this card!! It really made me think out of the box and allowed me to work with a bunch of ideas and marry them all together.

Letters of love

I made this for my friend that had the baby the day of her baby shower!  It went with her theme of turtles and frogs.  I don't have a picture of what the letters originally looked like.  I got them from a local boutique and they were black.  I thought that black would be too harsh for a baby, so i painted them white.  After it dried, it looked a little to plain, so I added some color to it by drawing lines and dots with green and pink paint pens.  I found the wooded animals at the craft store, then wrote her full name out individually on each animal.  Lastly I glued the animals on to each letter.  There are slots behind each letter to hang easier, or you could also place on a mantel or even a book shelf for a different look.  You could even add pretty ribbons to make it look more colorful and hang them off of pins or nails.  It was fairly fast and pretty easy, it literally took an afternoon from start to finish.  I was very happy with the end result!
