Eggstatic about Easter!

Hello there!  It's been a minute! Just wanted to pop in and share some Easter goodies!  I know that I am a little late, but what else is new? haha! I did some Easter egg decorating with my niece and nephew.  Here's what I came up with...
Of course I had to do some Hello Kitty eggs!  I saw the strawberry egg design on pinterest, sorry I can't remember who it was done by.  The last is by attempt to do a daruma, for those of you that aren't familiar with the daruma I linked it to give a description of it.  I got a bunch of cool new pens, and this was the first time trying them out! I love them all!  The gold in the daruma is a paint pen.  It has a brush as the tip, and the well part is clear so you can see the liquid coming down. (I should've taken a pic of it!) Lastly I had a cute spring colored manapua!

How was your Easter?? Did you decorate/dye eggs?  What are your Easter traditions?

EOSter goodies

This is another little treat that I made this Easter for my friends!! I used the EOS lip balms! They look like Easter eggs, so it is perfect for the occasion!  All I did was put it in a little clear baggie, and threw in some confettit, tied it with a cute ribbon and added a tag! Viola!  That's it! Smiles for everyone!  EOS smiles that is!!:)

What's your fav EOS flavor?? Do you like any of the other products?

Cheers!

For someBUNNY special!

Happy Easter! I know that it's a little late, but you know how it goes! I just wanted to share some Easter goodies that I made this year.

This is a little goodie jar that I saw on pinterest!  I have to admit that I thought it was gonna be super easy to make, but was a little harder than I thought. I tweaked it a little here and there, and just went with what worked!

To make this, I used edible grass, egg shaped candies, candy bunnies, mason jar, ribbons, and stickers.  The edible grass is very interesting, the green grass that I used here is green apple flavored, there is also little yellow bunny confetti that is banana flavored.  Stuff the grass inside the jar, I used a spoon to push it down and flatten it a little.   I added the egg shaped candy to the jar.  Through trial and error,  I decided to leave the bunny in the wrapper.  I've seen on pinterest that people use chocolate bunnies, and put them unwrapped in the jar.  I did not use chocolate bunnies, just because they were a little on the pricey side, and I wanted to keep the cost down.  The price of one chocolate bunny, was the same as a pack of five bunnies.  I got Reese's and cookies and cream bunnies.  Since they were a little on the smaller side, I opted to put two together in one jar.  I put them back to back,  so you could see it front and back in the jar.  I also want to add that the jar that I used, is completely smooth.   No writing,  or designs on the jar.  I got them at Walmart,  I was excited to find these babies!  I wedged the bunnies in the middle of the grass, and added more eggs around the bunnies to make Iittle more secure.  Adjust things around to your liking.   Now to add a little sass to the jar, I wrapped the outer rim of the jar with grosgain ribbon,  and put stickers on the top of the jar to jazz it up a little.  To top it of I added an Easter tag!

I love how these came out! It's so festive,  and doesn't it just make you wanna smile?! :)

The fun thing about Easter, is that you can use pretty much any color!  It doesnt have to be just pastels!

What do you love about Easter?!

Blame it on the VOG!

Just wanted to say Happy Aloha Friday! Hope everyone has a great weekend! The weather is still all over the place, and I'm sick!  I went on a little staycation last week, with little rest and now with the vog I am miserable!  It's strange, because I was never bothered by the vog before, but now it's becoming a constant nemesis of mine! :(

Here are some pics from the last couple weeks.

Some Easter goodie bags that I made for my friends babies!  It was a quick throw together, but I think it came out cute!! Love the little bunny cottontails!

Some scenic pics from the staycation! Nature showing off!  This is what we mean, when we say "lucky we live Hawaii!"

Easter Egg Hunt!  I really hope they found all the eggs!

Went on a little hike!  No, the pictures aren't blurry!  It's that damn vog that I was talking about!!  I was literally sucking wind on the way up!  Not that I'm out of shape or anything! ;)  It's the VOG!  I think I'm starting to like blaming things on the vog!

Parting shot!
Took this pic of a lonely coconut tree, so I decided to accessorize her!

Aloha!

Sakura Garden

Here's another lollipop garden, but this time I made them in sakura or cherry blossom flowers.  I even embossed the little bags with a tiny sakura pattern.  I used all different shades of pink, because this was for a baby shower!  I love how these came out!! I want to make more!!  Just looking at them, makes me smile!!

What's up for the weekend?  The weather has been a little wonky over here!  It's all over the place!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sprinkle Some Spring Around

Spring is here!!  I'm working on another Easter treat box!!  This one is a die cut using my Sizzix Big Shot!  I love this box, because it can fit a lot of goodies inside!! I used it for Easter once before, and I made it into a basket by fastening a strip of card stock as the handle.  There is a bunch of different things that you can do with this box, I'm having fun playing around with it.  Notice all my confetti?! :)  This is what I do with all the tiny left over scraps!  I cut them up for confetti!  Sprinkle them around and see people smile!  I think that everything looks better with confetti!  To me confetti just screams FUN!  You can add them to a card, but them in a gift or goodie bag, jazz up a table, I even used it for little party favors for one of my lovelies bachelorette party.  We had them on the table in mini champagne favor glasses, it was so cute as decor. Then we used them to throw around.  We were tossing them in the air and taking "action" shots.  The pics came out awesome!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!  Next week is Easter!! It seriously feels like we skipped February?!  Where did the time go?

Bunny Gardens

Here's a little sneak peek to some of the Easter sweets that I'm making! Sorry, I was trying some apps out that's why the pics are kinda weird looking.  I will post better pics soon!  These are bunny garden boxes.  Similar to the ones that I made before, but a little different.  These pics don't have the flower candy lollipops in them yet.  Stay tuned for more to come!

Have a great weekend!!

Hopping into Spring

It's that time again!  The Cadbury commercial is in full Spring!!  I love that commercial! It never gets old!! I'm hop, hop, hopping into EASTER!!! While I create more Spring treats to share with you, I want to share some of my past Spring seasons with you.  Some you probably have seen before, so pardon the duplicates.

Part of an Easter collection that I made.  I was getting tired of making the front of the bunny, so I just decided to do the back! Which I actually like but than the front!! :) To give it a little cuteness, I just added a dab of cotton to the bonbon!

Chickadee is walking around the garden trying to find some Easter eggs! A cute tag, that could be used for a boy or a girl!

This was part of a baby shower gift that I made.  Just looking at all the colors makes me smile!  I will be making these again this Spring for different occasions!

Another Spring tag, great to add to Easter baskets! The best thing about Spring is that you can't really go wrong with any color!

A little swag with your bag! Can be used as a little Easter goodie bag or even an Easter hunt bag.  Pink Lemonade hopping in the garden looking for some eggs.

Little sweet treat bags.  This is the same little bag that I use for the lollipop flowers, I just added a simple fluttering butterfly to make it a little more fun!!

Another does of sweetness!  This picture is giving me a toothache!  This is a very simple way to give a little treat! I've done it with all different treats inside, sunflower seeds, M&M's, whatever fits.

This is my fav!! It's a mini garden of sweets!  There's 8 individual lolly flower bags in each box!! It's perfect for an office gift or a table centerpiece!! I love how the flowers all come together!!

This Spring season, I will be doing a lot of the same and a little bit different!  Can't wait to show you what I've been working on!

Spring is filled with so many sweet surprised, what's your favorite Easter sweet treat?

Hoppy Spring!

Easter Filled

Easter was filled with lots of eating! I am stuffed, literally! I feel like I gained 20lbs. in one day!I guess it's salads for the rest of the week!  Here's a little mish mash of my Easter Sunday! Filled with all kinds of treats!  Not to mention, a visit by the Big Easter bunny, it literally took about 30 shots to get this one! I wanted to put some eggs and a basket in front of him, but that was pushing it.  Hope everyone had a great Easter!
