It's been awhile since I have posted anything craft related. Here we are in full Spring! April is here and soon it will be summer! This is a little birthday card that I made for a first birthday party. For some reason, I have a thing for hotair balloons. I don't know what it is, but they fascinate me. This entire card was made with either punches or cricut cut outs. I love using shades of pink and purple! It's just the right amount of girly. I hope to one day be able to go on a hotair balloon. It looks like so much fun!

Garden of Sweetness
Here is a completed garden! This is one side of the box, I used the sames bunny for both sides but decorated it a little different.

This is the other side of the box. For the box, I just used an old box that I had. It can fit 8 lollipops with a little space all around.
Here is the side view of the box, that I decorated with a basket and some tiny hearts.
This is the other side view of the box, just kept it simple.
Since everything is scaled to the smaller side, this is a great way to use up your scraps. All the details on the box are all using scraps!
Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the individual treats! UGH! They are each in little shopping bags and I used the See's lollipops since they are perfect shape!
This is a great little treat for Easter! This gift is great because it can be used as favors and a centerpiece at the same time! This pack of 8 is great for office or school treats!
Hope you're all hopping into Spring!! Easter is next week!
Cheers!

Football Favoritism
This is one of the favors that I made for the Go! #85 party! Again, I used the football cutout from the cricut cartridge Wrap it up. This cartridge is so awesome, because it has a box feature! It is so simple to assemble this box, and the best part is that you don't even need tape to put it together. It's a one piece design, and everything folds right into place. I know that the invitations were all shades of purple, but since the Super Bowl is in New Orleans there is sort of a Mardi Gras theme going on too. That is why these favors are all different colors. It's a colorful party!
Cheers!

GO! #85
Birthday Party/Super Bowl Party Invitations
This invitation is for an young lady turning 85, who's favorite color happens to be..umm you guessed it PURPLE! The theme is football, since it's on Super Bowl Sunday. I used my cricut for everything on this invitation. I cut the rectangle shape of the card, accented it with my fav white pen to give it a little pop! The 'jersey', is actually a baby onesie from the cartridge Wrap it up! I just cut off the bottom part of the onesie to make it look like a shirt. I added stripes to the sleeves to make it look more like a football jersey. Since it's her 85th b-day, I made the # on the jersey 85. The football is also from the Wrap it up cartridge. I really made use out of this football. More to come on that! This invite is very simple, but I think gets the theme across well!
